Congrats Rachel!

We want to say congratulations to one of our juniors, Rachel Stephens, for being awarded the Marianna Van Rensselaer Medal for The Fay Jones School of Architecture! The award recognizes an architecture student who has achieved outstanding excellence in attaining a liberal education and its allied disciplines. This award is normally given to a senior architecture student; however, Rachel qualified due to the amount of credits she has. Rachel said, "I am honored to have received this award and have my studies recognized."  Congratulations Rachel, we are very proud of you!

Last week we had a sisterhood event meet and greet with our new house mother, Mom Louise! She held a fun Q&A with the chapter and told us some of her funniest stories from her college years.

150 New Sisters!

Initiation was October 20 and we were able to initiation 150 new members into our Arkansas Alpha chapter! We are so excited for our 150 new sisters! A special thank you to Lauren Delph, Vice President of Fraternity Development, for planing initiation and making it run so smoothly! The morning of initiation our new pledge class received their arrow pillows and gift baskets from their big sisters. We love our new angels!

Sisterhood Event: The Gentry Zoo

For one of our Fall sisterhood events we went to the drive through zoo in Gentry, Arkansas! We were able to drive through and see camels, hogs, and even hold lion cubs! Some of the girls even dressed up as animals!
