“We are the founders of the wine and blue, shuffle on down, doing it for you. We’re not here to cause any trouble, we’re just here to do the Pi Phi Shuffle”, was sang by twelve Arkansas Alphas during the Founders Day brunch.   The twelve girls performed the shuffle in front of the chapter and alumni at the brunch.

The girls were representing the twelve founders of Pi Beta Phi by dressed from head to toe ins sunhats, ruffled aprons and moo moo’s to show how far Pi Phi has come since 1867 when I.C. Sorosis was founded at Monmouth College.

“Founders day is a great time for alumni’s and active members to get together and talk about what Pi Phi has done in each of our lives,” Lauren Delph, Vice President of Fraternity Development said, “This year we were given an update on our Centennial Gate that we are giving to the campus. This Founder’s Day was a special one because of the strides we’ve made in the last year”

The Pi Phi shuffle is a fun and memorable way of learning about the twelve founders and their lives. During the shuffle, each girl speaks about the founder they represent and we were able to learn some facts about their lives.
During the brunch there was a video shown of pictures that were taken throughout this year. The sisterhood shown in the pictures is special because without our twelve founders, we would have not have experienced such a wonderful year with our sisters.
